In 2022, the amount of non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk exported in Africa rose significantly to X litres, surging by X% against 2021 figures. Overall, exports continue to indicate a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. In Zambia, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exports increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: South Africa (X% per year) and Tanzania (X% per year).

The export price in Africa stood at $X per litre in 2022, rising by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a pronounced reduction. Total imports indicated a buoyant increase from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by X% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X litres in 2021, and then dropped modestly in the following year.

In 2022, Democratic Republic of the Congo (X litres) was the major importer of non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk, constituting X% of total imports.
