Bed Linen Price in Serbia (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average bed linen import price amounted to $7,679 per ton, with an increase of 9.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a pronounced setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the average import price increased by 15%. The import price peaked at $10,014 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Bangladesh ($10,498 per ton), while the price for China ($6,215 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+3.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Bed Linen Price in Serbia (FOB) - 2022
The average bed linen export price stood at $8,447 per ton in 2022, picking up by 1.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, showed a perceptible contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 16%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $13,395 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was North Macedonia ($13,763 per ton), while the average price for exports to Romania ($6,480 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+12.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
