The average clementines export price stood at $1,260 per ton in 2022, increasing by 6.4% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 8.4%. The export price peaked at $1,432 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Germany ($1,519 per ton) and Spain ($1,389 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1,013 per ton) and the UK ($1,167 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
