In August 2023, the average commercial printing import price amounted to $6,719 per ton, waning by -2.3% against the previous month. Over the period from August 2022 to August 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 an increase of 27% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $6,875 per ton in July 2023, and then fell slightly in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the UK ($24,821 per ton), while the price for Denmark ($3,436 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Estonia (+2.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
