The average electronic metal tester export price stood at $49,628 per unit in December 2021, leveling off at the previous month. Over the period from December 2020 to December 2021, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.6%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2021 when the average export price increased by 21% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $49,637 per unit in September 2021; afterwards, it flattened through to December 2021.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In December 2021, the highest price was recorded for prices to Taiwan (Chinese) ($50,228 per unit) and the United States ($49,638 per unit), while the average price for exports to Hong Kong SAR ($49,617 per unit) and Japan ($49,624 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Taiwan (Chinese) (+1.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In December 2021, the average electronic metal tester import price amounted to $37,620 per unit, flattening at the previous month.
