Fiberboard Price in the Netherlands (CIF) - 2022
The average fiberboard import price stood at $56 per cubic meter in 2022, approximately mirroring the previous year. In general, the import price recorded pronounced growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the average import price increased by 39%. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Ireland ($179 per cubic meter), while the price for Luxembourg ($19 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+8.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average fiberboard export price amounted to $28 per cubic meter, shrinking by -2.8% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a abrupt shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 36%. The export price peaked at $67 per cubic meter in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+29.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Fiberboard Imports in the Netherlands
In 2022, approx. 7.4M cubic meters of fiber board of wood or other ligneous materials were imported into the Netherlands; standing approx. at the year before. Fiberboard Exports in the Netherlands
