The average frozen strawberries import price stood at $1,675 per ton in June 2023, flattening at the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 13% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $1,938 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Poland ($2,558 per ton), while the price for Egypt ($1,279 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+4.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In June 2023, the average frozen strawberries export price amounted to $2,239 per ton, which is down by -7.5% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 56% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $4,306 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to June 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Greece ($5,161 per ton), while the average price for exports to Portugal ($1,266 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Greece (+2.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
