China High Tenacity Filament Yarn Of Viscose Rayon (Excluding Sewing Thread) Export Price in September 2022
In September 2022, the high tenacity filament yarn of viscose rayon (excluding sewing thread) price stood at $5,353 per ton (FOB, China), with an increase of 13% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in July 2022 an increase of 260% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $22,125 per ton. From August 2022 to September 2022, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In September 2022, the country with the highest price was Canada ($20.7 per kg), while the average price for exports to Uzbekistan ($2,780 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2022 to September 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Taiwan (Chinese) (+2.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
