The average hose and belt import price stood at $8,188 per ton in August 2023, surging by 6.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Japan ($21,419 per ton), while the price for Vietnam ($3,897 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+1.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
