Singapore (5.2K units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the leading importing countries, was attained by Ireland (with a CAGR of +27.6%), while imports for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the United States ($106M), Mexico ($67M) and Germany ($51M) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2022, with a combined 26% share of global imports. France, Singapore, Canada, Australia, Japan, Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, Ireland and Belgium lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 11%.

Ireland, with a CAGR of +25.9%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices By Country

In 2022, the average hydraulic press import price amounted to $3,666 per unit, increasing by 15% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced contraction. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $6,264 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
