Liquefied Propane Price in Slovakia (CIF) - 2022

The average liquefied propane import price stood at $762 per ton in 2022, picking up by 2.2% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a noticeable curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 69%. The import price peaked at $1,207 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the countries with the highest prices were Poland ($875 per ton) and Austria ($867 per ton), while the price for Hungary ($801 per ton) and Germany ($823 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 89%. The export price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($3,029 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hungary ($917 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
