Non-Combined Refrigerator-Freezer Price in Croatia (CIF) - 2023
In July 2023, the average non-combined refrigerator-freezer import price amounted to $283 per unit, which is down by -4.3% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 17% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $327 per unit. From March 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Italy ($321 per unit), while the price for Serbia ($59.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Romania (+2.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Non-Combined Refrigerator-Freezer Price in Croatia (FOB) - 2023
In July 2023, the average non-combined refrigerator-freezer export price amounted to $282 per unit, declining by -1.6% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2022 when the average export price increased by 45% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $315 per unit in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to July 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Romania ($146 per unit), while the average price for exports to Montenegro ($84.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Bosnia and Herzegovina (+7.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Non-Combined Refrigerator-Freezer Imports in Croatia
In 2022, the amount of household refrigerators and freezers (not combined) imported into Croatia contracted to 77K units, which is down by -13.9% against the year before. Overall, imports saw a abrupt contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 23% against the previous year. Imports peaked at 121K units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
