In July 2023, the average non-combined refrigerator-freezer import price amounted to $312 per unit, reducing by -9.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a slight shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 106% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $795 per unit. From December 2022 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($580 per unit), while the price for China ($99.6 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Romania (+5.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
