Non-Electrical Lamp Price in the Netherlands (CIF) - 2023
The average non-electrical lamp import price stood at $2.0 per unit in August 2023, falling by -8% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a slight shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 30% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $3.2 per unit in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($3.5 per unit), while the price for China ($1.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Non-Electrical Lamp Price in the Netherlands (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average non-electrical lamp export price amounted to $2.4 per unit, with a decrease of -3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 26%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $3.9 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($4.4 per unit), while the average price for exports to Italy ($1.8 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Non-Electrical Lamp Imports in the Netherlands
In 2022, the amount of non-electrical lamps and lighting fittings imported into the Netherlands expanded to 24M units, with an increase of 3% against the previous year's figure. Overall, imports, however, saw a pronounced shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 6%.
