In value terms, the United States ($760M) constitutes the largest market for imported pineapples worldwide, comprising 28% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Netherlands ($198M), with a 7.4% share of global imports. It was followed by China, with a 6.7% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in the United States stood at +2.4%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the Netherlands (-0.9% per year) and China (+22.5% per year).
Import Prices By Country

In value terms, Costa Rica ($1B) remains the largest pineapple supplier worldwide, comprising 47% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Philippines ($333M), with a 15% share of global exports. It was followed by the Netherlands, with a 7.2% share.
