The average preserved tuna export price stood at $4,589 per ton in June 2023, remaining constant against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 an increase of 23% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $4,721 per ton. From December 2022 to June 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for the United States.
