The pace of growth was the most pronounced in June 2022 when the average import price increased by 1,381% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $65,027 per ton. From July 2022 to March 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($9,962 per ton), while the price for China ($2,994 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2022 to March 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (-0.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In March 2023, the country with the highest price was France ($5,833 per ton), while the average price for exports to Haiti ($1,462 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2022 to March 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+1.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
