Price for Aluminium; Tubes and Pipes in Italy (FOB) - 2023
The average aluminium; tubes and pipes export price stood at $7,022 per ton in July 2023, which is down by -2.5% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 5.5% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $7,534 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to July 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United States ($11,031 per ton), while the average price for exports to Egypt ($5,110 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovakia (+1.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.0%. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was China ($23,593 per ton), while the price for Greece ($3,841 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+13.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
