The average animals; live, birds, psittaciformes import price stood at $18 per unit in 2022, remaining stable against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price showed a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 15%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $72 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The export price peaked at $72 per unit in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($69 per unit), while the average price for exports to Lebanon ($42 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
