In 2022, the average import price for carboxyimide-function compounds (including saccharin and its salts) and imine-function compoundses amounted to $6,913 per ton, with an increase of 5.1% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 30% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $8,762 per ton. From 2020 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($19,831 per ton), while the price for India ($4,812 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2023 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Indonesia (+8.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
