Price for Cereal Flour; of Maize (Corn) in Russia (CIF) - 2022
The average import price for cereal flour; of maize (corn) stood at $783 per ton in January 2022, increasing by 23% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2021 an increase of 25% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $821 per ton in July 2021; however, from August 2021 to January 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In January 2022, the country with the highest price was Italy ($970 per ton), while the price for Poland ($536 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The export price peaked at $918 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Georgia ($1,708 per ton), while the average price for exports to Kazakhstan ($436 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kazakhstan (-0.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
