Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in January 2023 an increase of 15% month-to-month. The import price peaked in December 2023.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from Poland ($16,624 per ton) and Turkey ($12,095 per ton), while the price for Serbia ($11,176 per ton) and China ($11,208 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
