Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a pronounced curtailment. The import price peaked at $33,911 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for China.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Vietnam amounted to +1.1% per month.
