In June 2023, the average export price for fertilizers; mineral or chemical, phosphatics amounted to $1,133 per ton, increasing by 44% against the previous month. Overall, export price indicated a measured expansion from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.9% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, fertilizers; mineral or chemical, phosphatic export price increased by +61.9% against February 2023 indices. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Romania ($1,133 per ton) and Malawi ($1,133 per ton), while the average price for exports to Italy ($1,133 per ton) and Turkey ($1,133 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
