In 2022, the average import price for fluorides; fluorosilicates, fluoroaluminates and other complex fluorine saltses amounted to $1,659 per ton, which is down by -40.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 43% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $2,800 per ton, and then fell dramatically in the following year.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($2,223 per ton), while the price for China stood at $1,654 per ton.
From 2017 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+15.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
