The average import price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds stood at $1.9 per square meter in 2022, surging by 23% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a slight decline. The import price peaked at $2.6 per square meter in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($5.2 per square meter), while the price for Hong Kong SAR ($0.4 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+16.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds stood at $6 per square meter in 2022, rising by 6.4% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed notable growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when the average export price increased by 84%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $9.8 per square meter. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($15 per square meter), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($3.5 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+250.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, imports of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds soared to $4.8M in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 116%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
