The average import price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds stood at $1.9 per square meter in 2022, picking up by 4.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 50%. The import price peaked at $4.9 per square meter in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($17 per square meter), while the price for Germany ($1.2 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+15.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average export price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds amounted to $3.6 per square meter, waning by -60.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 43%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $9.1 per square meter in 2021, and then shrank remarkably in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($30 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Hungary ($1.3 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Latvia (+40.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

After three years of growth, supplies from abroad of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds decreased by -65.1% to 498K square meters in 2022.
