In August 2023, the average import price for steel, stainless; cold-drawn or cold-rolled, tubes and pipes of circular cross-sectia amounted to $3,405 per ton, surging by 6.4% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a slight descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2023 when the average import price increased by 3,483% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $92,639 per ton. From July 2023 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($23,516 per ton), while the price for Poland ($2,125 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+18.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $28,319 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
