Price for Television, Video and Digital Camera in Switzerland (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average import price for television, video and digital cameras amounted to $294 per unit, increasing by 16% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a slight setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 74% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $416 per unit in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($934 per unit), while the price for Malaysia ($116 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Egypt (+3.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average export price for television, video and digital cameras stood at $1,348 per unit in 2022, surging by 14% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed strong growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 46% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $1,626 per unit in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
