The average tobacco; "homogenised" or "reconstituted" import price stood at $2,827 per ton in 2022, surging by 13% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a slight reduction. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $3,223 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a prominent increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 151%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 191 tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, tobacco; "homogenised" or "reconstituted" exports contracted to $583K in 2022. Overall, exports, however, showed significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 143% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $736K. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
