The average export price for vegetables; olives, provisionally preserved but unsuitable in that state for immediate consumptia stood at $1,535 per ton in 2022, declining by -21.4% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.6%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 38%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,109 per ton. From 2018 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($3,195 per ton), while the average price for exports to Belarus ($694 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Armenia (+10.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
