In March 2022, the average export price for woven fabrics of combed wool or of combed fine animal hair amounted to $3.7 per square meter, falling by -2% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, enjoyed a slight expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2021 an increase of 77% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $4.7 per square meter. From January 2022 to March 2022, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Armenia ($5.2 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Russia totaled $3.2 per square meter.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable contraction.
