By contrast, the UK (-1.5%) and Germany (-3.7%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Poland (+5.5 p.p.), the Netherlands (+2 p.p.) and Iraq (+1.9 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global imports from 2012-2022, the share of the UK (-2.1 p.p.), Italy (-2.5 p.p.) and Germany (-12.2 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the largest pumps for liquids importing markets worldwide were the United States ($1.8B), China ($1.2B) and Germany ($982M), together accounting for 24% of global imports. Russia, the Netherlands, Italy, the UK, Turkey, Poland, Mexico, Iraq, the Czech Republic and Brazil lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 23%.
The Netherlands, with a CAGR of +14.9%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average pumps for liquids import price amounted to $69 per unit, surging by 5% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 11% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $101 per unit. From 2015 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to pumps for liquids exports from China stood at +9.8%. At the same time, India (+28.4%), the Netherlands (+25.3%), Germany (+4.2%), Mexico (+4.1%) and Slovakia (+1.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. In value terms, China ($4.2B) remains the largest pumps for liquids supplier worldwide, comprising 25% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Germany ($1.9B), with an 11% share of global exports. It was followed by Italy, with a 7% share.
In China, pumps for liquids exports increased at an average annual rate of +9.7% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (-1.5% per year) and Italy (+3.2% per year).
Export Prices By Country
The average pumps for liquids export price stood at $60 per unit in 2022, surging by 5.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable decrease.
