The average stationery product import price stood at $2,619 per ton in 2022, increasing by 12% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.3%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 21% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Finland ($15,361 per ton), while the price for Portugal ($1,347 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $8,608 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($9,759 per ton), while the average price for exports to France ($2,483 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Bulgaria (+2.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
