Sulphides; Polysulphides Price in Bangladesh (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average sulphides; polysulphides import price amounted to $532 per ton, surging by 50% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a pronounced increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, sulphides; polysulphides import price increased by +59.7% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 55%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $657 per ton. From 2017 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

In general, imports faced a dramatic contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 6.1%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 20K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, sulphides; polysulphides imports dropped remarkably to $4.3M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports faced a abrupt contraction. The smallest decline of -4.7% was in 2021.
