Thermoforming Machine Price in the United States (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average thermoforming machine import price amounted to $31,398 per unit, waning by -11.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the average import price increased by 37% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $43,167 per unit. From 2017 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Canada ($171,624 per unit), while the price for France ($3,276 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Canada (+7.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average thermoforming machine export price stood at $22,338 per unit in October 2023, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 an increase of 31% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $28,126 per unit; afterwards, it flattened through to October 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Poland ($89,400 per unit), while the average price for exports to Costa Rica ($19,122 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+12.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
