Titanium Price in Norway (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average titanium import price amounted to $8,245 per ton, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a slight expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2022 an increase of 2,188% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $170K per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to August 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was China ($8,465 per ton), while the price for Germany amounted to $5,788 per ton.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+2.1%).

In 2022, the average titanium export price amounted to $15,259 per ton, stabilizing at the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average export price increased by 60% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $79,691 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
