Vitamin Price in China (FOB) - 2023
In June 2023, the average vitamin export price amounted to $8,134 per ton, reducing by -9.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a pronounced slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 9.3% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $11,706 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to June 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United States ($9,891 per ton), while the average price for exports to Vietnam ($6,435 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Japan (-1.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Vitamin Price in China (CIF) - 2022
The average vitamin import price stood at $32,345 per ton in 2022, which is down by -5.9% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 29%. The import price peaked at $34,380 per ton in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($59,136 per ton), while the price for India ($5,855 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+5.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Vitamin Exports in China

In value terms, vitamin imports reduced notably to $201M in 2022. Overall, imports saw a abrupt curtailment.
