The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2021; however, from 2022 to 2023, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, vegetable exports soared to $X in 2023. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2023; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2023, Turkey (X tons) represented the largest exporter of vegetables, committing X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Iran (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons), Jordan (X tons) and Israel (X tons), together mixing up a X% share of total exports. Syrian Arab Republic (X tons) and Yemen (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Iran (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
