The average import price for ginger, saffron, tumeric (curcuma), thyme, bay leaves, curry and other spiceses stood at $3,977 per ton in 2022, falling by -14% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a resilient increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 32%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $4,627 per ton, and then shrank in the following year.
