The average import price for ginger, saffron, tumeric (curcuma), thyme, bay leaves, curry and other spiceses stood at $5,117 per ton in 2022, falling by -14.8% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 32% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $6,007 per ton, and then dropped in the following year.
